This now means that we have to play them twice in 4 days as we have a league match their on the previous Saturday.

Presumably this takes precedence over Enfield Town's Middlesex Charity Cup game due to take place at Hampton on the same night.
The first case of an Enfield win forcing postponement of an Enfield Town game!

There was never really any question as to what game was going to be played on the 19th as the Middlesex Charity Cup does not take priorty over anything.
FA Cup, FA Vase, Senior County Cup, League, League Cup, League Shield.
In fact I think it may do as the Feeder League Cup may be that low dow as well.

Strange to think that such a lowly competition (and I'm serious about that!) once had the final played at Wembley Stadium. I was there...

I think you will find playing the finals at Wembley was down to one thing and that was Russell Grant and his support for Middlesex it had very little to do with the status of the competition.
E forever

I would have thought that had it been more than that, the league clubs in Middlesex would have hijacked it just for the chance of playing at the Twin Towers.

And how many league clubs are there in Middlesex -no, sorry, we don't want to go there again!
