Robin van Persie moved to London last year

Arsenal star Robin van Persie has been arrested in Holland on suspicion of rape, the Dutch authorities have said.

The 21-year-old striker was held on Monday following the alleged assault in the city of Rotterdam over the weekend.

The Public Prosecutors Office of Reijnmond told BBC News police can hold the footballer for three days before charging or releasing him.

The point of this thread being started is that it is from a second rate north London club that see this as an achievement as they have so little on field success to enjoy.

They always focus on things like this even though the DO NOT have a perfect record themselves.

If he is ever charged and convicted, not a dead cert as players from a northern club were accussed but not convicted, I am sure he will be shown the exit door and that would be right at that time, Not before.

if arsenal are a second rate north london side surely you cannot imply spurs are first rate.
so little on field success hahahahaha who won fa cup last season, who won league seaon before? arsenal are one of the most sucessful clubs in country.

the player in quwestion has NOT repeat has NOT been found guilty. people say he must be guilty don't know all facts surrounding the allegation.

if you remeber in this country we have a saying ..... innocent until proven guilty.

But he is guilty, he signed on for the team whose manager has the worst disciplinery record in the league, a side cynical in its disregard for decent dealing I.E. the tapping of and stealing without payment of AR-Sol, probably the best diving side outside of the USA olympics team and worst of all that smell ugh
