i got through 2day! with nothing coz i just hopped on train as it was pulling away luckt that because i could have got fined £20 aswell

I know there are times when the machines aren't working and honest people are fined, but there are a lot of peole who never intended buying a ticket.
The Rail companies created this situation by cutting staff at stations for financial reasons. Some of the money they saved should be spent on sending crews, not only to empty the money, but to maintain the machines daily!
