Any Conference team losing 3-0 to a Premiership club is quite a reasonable result, especially against a side consisting of first team players. Quite frankly I couldn't see us doing any better. Also, how is it that some Conference clubs can get Premiership sides to bring a strong team and others ( such as ourselves ) always get a team consisting of reserves or youth players? In seasons past Spurs, Arsenal and Aston Villa have played pre season games at Stonebridge Road. On each occasion they had only one first team player appear. I take it that we are not well connected enough to arrange for first teams to visit.

It's just as well we are not playing the Gills pre-season, we would have to field a team of reserves and PASE lads!

It's quite often because the conference club hosts the premiership club's reserve matches and get a friendly with a strong first team as part of the deal.

It will be interesting to see what strength Charlton put out against us then given that we let their ladies side use the pitch when Dartford aren't screwing it up.

Bunch of big girls blouses poncing about kicking the ball in whatever direction they are facing. They don't play like men do, no passing, no tackling, no running, no heading, absolutely no idea how to play football.....still they are getting their own ground soon so they can sod off back to Dartford.

Last time you beat Chelsea?

Lets not mention the league cup semi-final of three years ago.

I prefere the two games later on in the season, 4-0 twice in four days I think t was. Normal service has been resumed!

Oh dear! Abramovich bought Chelsea two years ago, Spurs haven't beaten Chelsea in the League since February 1990. David Howels and Gary Linekar scored for them.

So then we've established that Chelseas league hold over Spurs has nothing to do with Abramovich, whats next? Ah yes where will I be IF (rather than when) Abramovich pulls out? At Stonebridge Road probably, where will you be?

And as for Longshanks saying we bought the league ha thats a joke considering Spurs were nearly bought by the Russian. No I'm sorry mate Tottenham will forever be Piss Pot Spurs playing at the Piss Pot Lane who will never win anything ever again.

Question is why are the season tickets more expensive at "the three point lane" than at Fortress Stamford Bridge?

What has the fact that you reckon Abramovich was keen on buying Tottenham got to do with things? Fact is that he didn’t and we didn’t win the league. If he did come to Tottenham, and spend £200million or whatever then I’d be the first to hold my hands up.

How you’ve got the audacity as a Chelsea fan to comment that Spurs will always be piss poor baffles me. Chelsea was nothing ten years ago, and even worse twenty years ago – Proper joke club, Second Division one season, First the next, back down to Second the year after – proper two bob joke outfit – I remember the days when even West Ham used to laugh at your lot. You must have a short memory fella, or you’ve only followed football for five minutes, because if a Mickey Mouse outfit like Chelsea can be transformed into League Champions then most teams can!

Lets face it eh, Chelsea are Crystal Palace with money that all. No history worth mentioning and you’ve only managed to fill your ground in the last few years.
You’ve bought the title and that is a FACT – You hadn’t even come close to winning it in my lifetime before your cash injection from the Russian so how you can even argue is beyond me.

I'll probably be in Gravesend...as I have been for the last 40 odd years.....but thanks for asking !

By the way....it's nothing personal....I couldn't give a sh*t about Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Man U, Liverpool...or Mrs Miggins in the Pie Shop !

But, if you don't want a reply/reaction...then don't go into print !!

Cheers,

History what is it? Is it due to how many trophies you've won or is it down to how many times you nearly go bankrupt but don't? Your right Chelsea were a piss pot club and I can remember West Ham laughing at us. I had a sticker album in the 88-89 season and couldn't work out why Chelsea weren't in it but West Ham were. My West Ham supporting uncle really gave me stick for that.

Chelsea were victims of circumstance that were thrown up by themselves. In the early seventies all the celebs wanted to be seen at Stamford Bridge. We had Ossie, Huddy, Peter Bonetti to name but a few, still we couldn't win the league.

I think I might be right in saying though that Chelsea were the first British team to beat Real Madrid. The '71 Athens Cup winners cup final, it took us a replay to do it but we did it.

How old are you exactly? You strike me as a guy of about fifty so you would have been only ten in '65 when we should have won the treble. Only managed to get away with the League cup though. The Micky Mousers knocked us out of the cup at the Semi-Final stage and we lost the league due to a few team piss ups in the team hotel on the nights before games.

Remember Arsenal going the season before last unbeaten? Little was made of it at the time but they nearly did it in '90 as well. Came down to the Bridge in mid Feb and what happened? Boom Johnny Bumstead fired one in to the top corner of the net infront of the Shed in the final minute. 2-1 Chelsea - Goodbye Arsenal!

Whats the highest away score for a Premiership match? 6-1 Chelsea at the Three Point Lane. Tore Andre Flo hat trick. 1-1 At half time it was.

I HATE STEVENAGE BOROUGH! THAT WESTLY BLOKE REALLY GETS ON MY NERVES, WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?

And who can forget Venables fantastic free kick against Roma in '66? It was his double that night that sent us through you know.

Off the field its been pretty eventfull as well. Ten years it took us to build that bloody east stand and the thing nearly bankrupted us. Right from the early 20th century up until Ken Bates bought us for one pound in a pub the club was owned by one family name, the Mears Family.

Obiously Bates followed and then Abramovich after him. Three owners in theory, how many have Spurs had?

Add on to that the fact that Chelsea invented the use of the ball boy and you've got one history fuelled club. Also who are the only two top flight clubs to be playing at the ground they were at when they were formed and under the same name? Portsmouth who are moving to a new ground and Chelsea.

Now though it isn't like that, you right we did buy the league but you accept it if it was you so does that not make you a hypocrit? But then if it was you I'd be saying the same.

Obviously now that all passion has desserted the Bridge, cemented by the fact that Kenyon has now given the Shed to the away fans, you may as well give them the home dressing room, and all you have is one passionless club in one passionless league which is something that tin pot Tottenham are apart of.

Which is why I come down to watch the Fleet. Obviously don't see you making many Fleet posts. Funny how as soon as the subject of two bit North London outfits crops up you spark into conversation about Football!

How many times have you watched the Fleet did you say?

Who said anything about not wanting a reply or reaction?

People really misinterpret why I come in here. Half the time its to wind people up as I do quite often and seem to have succesfully done here.

I'm 22 Hirsty. I started going to watch Chelsea whe I was 7. What would you have had me do, say to my dad no i don't want for you to pay for me to go and watch Chelsea I want to spend all my pocket money on watching Gravesend? Hmmm, genius Hirsty strikes again.

As time went on it became more and more likely that I would spend out my days watching Chelsea, like Fleet Loyal, sorry, Lonshanks says "It's not so long ago Chelsea were a tin pot club". So going to see Chelsea wasn't an attractive thing to do, you went for you passion for the club.

Wheres the passion now though? Without wanting to blow my own trumpet who could have blamed me for wanting to renew my Chelsea season ticket? Instead I chose to watch the Fleet. Unfortunatly I find your "I have been here for 40 years, where the [****!!****] have you been?" attitude very off puting.

Why don't we fleece new fans when the come through the gates, we can interegate them as to why they haven't been to Stonbridge Road before!
