.....we don't have a gambling forum, so I'll be putting my Saturday System selections in here when the season starts.

For those of you who don't know, I take between 5 and 7 matches where I select the team to win and perm those with every remaining match as a draw. So if you get the teams to win correct, you then win on every draw.

After a few successes last season, I went mad posting my selections and it went downhill. One weekend, my Gravesend caused myself to miss out on over £2000 from a total stake of £11.20 by scoring two 2nd-half goals to draw 2-2 at Carlisle. Overall though, the season showed a profit.

Well, this season I will not be going on 'gut instincts' - I have a rating system in place, which will evolve after each and every fixture. It will be this rating system that selects the teams to win from Premiership to Conference.....
.....selections will be permed with all English & Scottish matches.

.....roll on August 6th!

Hark at the expert - state the obvious, eh?

I expect Celtic to draw with Motherwell, to be honest.

Anyway, still working on this weekends selections,
but I never take odds shorter than 1/2 in football,
so that would rule Rangers out anyway.

Told you Celtic would draw away at Motherwell!

How is it luck?

The game is played until the final whistle & they equalised.
It is no more luck than if it had been 4-4 after 60 minutes.

Try to read the laws of the game when you get a chance, eh?

So if a team scores in the 90th minute it is luck,
but if they score the goal in the 1st minute in exactly the same way, it isn't?

You may be my brother but you still talk bollox.

Cos Arsenal are a bunch of ******* and you support them.
(Well, from your armchair, anyway.)

At the end of the day, a goal isn't lucky just because it's scored in the 90th minute.
