More shootings in london

Recommended Posts

It's all very 24 if you ask me. Rumour has it he was one of the rubbish bombers from yesterday. Well at least he more or less killed himself in the end.

OR the Police could of shot a guy who was simply guilty of not paying for a ticket and being Asian

On the other hand, the statement confirmed the man had been followed by police from a house in Tulse Hill that was under surveillance.

Whilst they believe he wasn't connected to the bombings, he obviously did have something to hide, seeing as he refused to stop when asked and vaulted over the ticket barriers.

Would like to know the source which said he didn't vault over the barrier or that he was wearing a bulky jacket ?

In the time it has taken for you and I to type out these posts, how long did it take for the Police to work out whether a Man running towards a Tube was a Brazilian Immigrant whose Visa had expired, or a Bomber about to commit a suicide attack ? How long did the Police have to make this decision.

Yes he was allegedly followed from a building which was being watched by the Police, yes they allegedly let him on a bus, but when confronted what was the reaction ?

Is the insinuation that the Police were trigger happy ? The Policeman involved hasn't the luxury of hindsight, time or complete information to act on when he's called into a potentially devastating situation.

This will be the same man who will protect you or your loved ones had you have been in a situation where someone could inflict maximum casualties.

Suggest you bear that in mind.

I suggest you also bear in mind that I made no statement of opinion in what I wrote, was not criticising the police in any way, used the term 'according to reports' and was merely mentioning a further development.

Indeed, jkmaskell is right, the statement came from a member of the victim's family, who claimed she'd been told so by a Met Police source. Of course, we don't know the veracity of that claim one way or the other until a full enquiry is undertaken, but in the meantime calm yourself and don't jump down my throat when I hadn't even slagged the police in the first place.
