Yes, he can score some great goals but he can also be far too greedy (trying to do everything himself rather than passing) and can sulk on the field when things aren't going his way. He did some great things in his first season for us but once the word got round the ESL and teams worked out how to play him, his scoring rate fell dramatically.

He just wouldn't fit into our squad now.

Have to agree withs Tom's comments although not sure about whether he would fit into our current squad as I have been a bit slack and dont actually know a lot of the names on the team sheet these days. Slap on the wrist for me.

Would say though in defence of Clarkey I liked him and wish him well and good luck at his new club, I am sure he will score goals for them.

Current Strikers for Town, Richard Howard, Brian Hammatt, Johnny Morgan, Dean Green, Dean Nyman, Russell Penn, Maurice Byfield, Kojo Ofori and Dominic Wakenge. Some great talent.

I agree with both these comments and think that Daniel is a nice bloke but wouldn't add anything to our team.

Danny has spent most of the opening two matches on the bench, I havent seen danny play that much but I know he had a couple of good years with enfield town and ilford so i was told. If danny has left us then i wish him well for his future.
