Enfields makeshift rearguard had another torrid afternoon conceding three goals in the first 28 mins to corby town today.Mark whittington was taken off due to a badly cut head wound after just 4 mins And we are Still missing the services of Dave Greenwood ,Jamie Barry, Al James Hannigan,Nick turner,Greg Howell We just couldn't get any worthwhile rythym going and looked very poor all round . The second half we faired much better despite then losing kevin kilroy to yet another injury early in the second half , Although Corby did relax somewhat .A couple of decent chances did fall our way but Jamie Richards and Kevin cooper wasted them.

A couple of experienced defenders would make all the difference.

The loss of danny jones is also a major factor. And Bunny gave us that bit extra up front. what has replaced them dosent look up to the task. Gary Hoy was missing on monday (Thank God) and why didnt sid nelson play ?

I'd have liked to hang on to Mark Brewer. He always gave his best.

Well lets see if the board are going to finance a couple of experienced players , I think thats all thats needed to get us out of this rut. Dave Greenwood should make a difference when he's available.

If we're going to keep getting the sort of results we've had in the last 3 games we might as well get rid of the experienced players and put the youngsters in.

Things were not good at the back, Greenwood coming back will hel that out, Keeping Mark Brewer would have helped but thats not an option now

Up front Cooper needs to get the ball to his feet and then he can score us goals. we seem to have him cahsing back into midfield or seeing balls going over his head.

get the ball to his feet thats where he wants it
