Hornchurch 2 Walton & Hersham 6

Urchins

Despite all the rhetoric, nobody yet has offered an explanation for why your attendances seem to vastly overstate the numbers actually inside the ground. Fans of 3 clubs - those that actually brought supporters to your stadium - have gone on record as stating that the official attendance was way above those actually making up the crowd. Video footage on your own website also appears to confirm that there are very few at Hornchurch games too, unless all 300 of them were standing behind the video camera.

You fool nobody except yourselves.

Agreed. They waffle a lot here but don't actually address the questions posed.

Can I refer you to the honourable statement of the Walton fan who made some comments. Hardly jealousy or sour grapes as they stuffed you. Just a had a bit of shitty experience at this "professional" disney outfit. You should learn from comments like this rather than get all shirty.

By the way how long have the Hornchurch contributors on here supported the club? No lying now.

it has already been explained to you what the figures through the gate and indeed the total attendances are....what on earth is the matter with you cretins....we think the figures are crap anyway and we wont be happy until we get a grand a game....we don't have to prove anything at all to anyone...are you all really so thick...WE DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK....we are happy.... you are sad...we have money...you are skint...which of course explains why you are on our website and we're not on yours....don't suppose that W & H will complain about the cheque that they get shortly though will they, probably the biggest that they have had for a while...mostly nice people as well..good luck to them in their efforts to improve the club...pity that they've got you lot to contend with...saddos one and all...and with you skint merchants supporting them they'll certainly need it...interestingly enough...wealdstone declared their visiting fans to our stadium as 150..we reckoned about 70 at most...when we went there... the place was deserted...they all stay in the pub around the corner..on another point....can someone tell us what gives a visiting fan the right to abuse staff at our ground and demand entry into restricted areas...its actually called trespassing....not that you would care....are you millwall in disguise...now *** off from our forum and go play with your combat outfits... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/upyours.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/upyours.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/upyours.gif" alt="" />

it seems to me that most of you are actually missing the point...last year the urchins were in div 3 rymans...they are now third in div 1 nth and looking good in the league thus far...cup games we will not dwell on. It is hardly the fault of the supporters of the club or indeed the players and management.. that large amounts of money were invested in the club earlier this year. To be truthful...is there any player, director, manager or supporter that would turn down a multi million pound investment in their club...if they truly care...the answer is no. The stadium at hornchurch was run down and condemned. As at May this year..the new owners gave the place a massive face lift and have plans to build a new 1 million pound stand and a new leisure centre next year. At the same time we are working with the athletics club to relay the track and also develop community involvement in the stadium. The catering facilities that we have at present are not sufficient for the needs of the stadium...we are aware of that...regardless of the drivel about attendences. They are however, the only facilities that are there and everyone works hard to ensure that visitors are accomodated....for the most part we receive praise for our efforts....In the minority, anonymously usually on this web site, we are condemned by futile minds and bitter souls...we can live with that. We know what we are trying to do...we know what we are going to do. Thank you all for your interest in our club. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wavey.gif" alt="" />

The official away support figure for the Urchins v Stones game was in fact 155. So in all honesty, the Stones fans estimates on their travelling support were spot on.

we have been reading with some degree of humour the issue regarding the gates at hornchurch fc...what 'official' figures do wealdstone rely on in the previous quote,,,how can a club accurately forecast away attendance figures...truth is they can't...mind you...wealdstone are pretty adept at blowing the trumpet for their away fans...go to their home matches and see for yourself what good supporters they really are...as for the urchins...we have no complaints about the gate declarations for our visit or indeed the facilities...it is quite obvious that a lot of changes are being effected down there and for the most part we enjoyed our visit and were welcomed...yes the facilities are inadequate but they are obviously having to work with what they have...we lost but the ground was busy and noisy and enjoyable, Please leave us out of this debate..we have no axe to grind with HFC they will be welcome here...band and all. Perhaps thay are showing the way...u all must admit...they certainly have got everyone in non league talking...whatever you say...

Re your quote below. Do you still ignore the quote from your local rag? Home fans outnumbered by away fans. You are a blinkered fool. Go on stick your fingers in your ears and go La la la. If that was the case re the crowd, how was it 340 as stated? must be [****!!****] like your other crowds. Try actually counting it won't take long. Not that I expect a truthful answer.

If there was such a problem with away fans what were the mutliple stewards doing?

Regards trespassing, the only reason you had segregation is to rip of the away fans and herd them into to that so called bar.

What a funny little world you live.

And how long have you all been supporting Hornchurch again?

Don't forget the little smillies.

"wealdstone declared their visiting fans to our stadium as 150..we reckoned about 70 at most...when we went there... the place was deserted...they all stay in the pub around the corner..on another point....can someone tell us what gives a visiting fan the right to abuse staff at our ground and demand entry into restricted areas...its actually called trespassing....not that you would care"

2 quick questions. How is promotion going to work this year as there are two divisions now.

In one of the earlier threads it mentions the work that the new owners are doing. When I used to run there it was a council athletics track (a bad one). Is it no longer owned by the council and is the running track going to be updated. that would make it the only decent track in Havering.

Thanks for your time and good luck with your football team
