For those who came to support the town in the ESL Cup final thanks. And for those who came, stood and cheered with the Leyton fans, at least you swelled their numbers.
Not bad 3 trophies in our first season? If we are really lucky we might make it 4 on Thursday, but we have a lot of injuries so the odds are against that.
Can it last? Probably not but we're going to have a good go at making it.

See my previous response to "Colin The Gateman" on your forum.
I went along to see a game (to which I had no care for the result) and to enjoy my day off.
Sadly, Mr Happy you speak with fork tounge!
I spent the first half in your end, renewing some old friendships, but got p*** with the sniping.
I was wearing the old red/green shirt and was questioned "how can you wear that - it's disgusting" and this was from someone who probably wore it with pride a few seasons ago! We were also accused of being "on a spying mission".
In the second half we (I took Sam who has been going to football with me since she was 4 - she is now 12) stood elsewhere.

Cant believe you took abuse Derek not from us friendly Townies i would have thought people would have been pleased to see you again, still it must have been strange to be in a crowd of more than 100 and a cup final atmosphere to boot,i dont think you were on a spying mission because none of our players would want to lower themselves and come and play for your mob

Glad to see we are all back in the land of banter and good humour - it's what our level of football is about!
See you around.

Wearing the green and red was asking for it though when everybody else is in the blue and white.

Anyway, it's the same colours as the Fuller's brewery rugby shirts so it can't be all bad!

As for sniping, I'm sure it was in good jest and to be totally honest, wearing an EFC shirt was a bit of a snipe from yourself. You were bound to get a bit of stick. Anyhow, what about some words of congratulation from you?
Shreddies do not keep hunger locked up till lunchtime!
