Not really sure, but i noticed on the offical site that Ashley is not sub keeper, so i would guess mckinney will start with potter on the bench, hope Bunce and Conroy Start, also good news is that their top stiker is injured at the moment so that might give our defence a bit of time to build up and sort out their defending positions

Well there might be more changes than we thought if you believe the Echo.

King: Hallett Up To Seadogs Test

"I`m seriously thinking about throwing in Jason against Scarborough" said King

Left-sider Chris Duffy is suspended and Ben Sedgemore is expected to come back into the starting line-up.

I wish i hadn`t posted now, every thread that`s started seems to end up talking about Mario <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> Why does Hallett being involved mean that Mario should be, they don`t play in the same position.

Has anybody actually asked Jeff, Glenn or even Mario himself why he is not being picked or is it more fun just to speculate?

well when both of them have qualities that the team desire it seems stupid to pick one and no the other, if minton has got a problem with mario, then he should put up and shut up and let mario have a turn, if he proves everyone wrong and plays dreadfull then so be it he's tried, from the games so far that i have seen minton has not done much than driblle a ball round in cirlces and lose the ball, he might of scored two goals, but it team players that we need. Ive said my piece and now i will shut up

For now Anyway!!

It's more fun specualting!!

Feel a tad sorry for Ash. Can see Bunce starting again. Nice to see him get the ball out wide against Crawley - he just needs a little less power so it stays in the ground or Keeling needs to grow another 10 foot <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

IMHO we certainly need to strengthen midfield and felt we missed Sedgemore at Crawley - who do you leave out? Clarke and Keeling to job share.

Not sure it's the best combination Mints & Sedgemore but what alternatives do we have - oh what about Mario! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

I've nothing against Hallett but the few opportunities he had last season didn't really make an impact although he always started from the bench rather than being given a full starting game. Who would you leave out - Tait or Ibe? Alternatively drop Greggors from the bench and pick Hallett - subbing Ibe or Tait as the game goes on.

i think keeling is more affective coming on as a sub than clarke is,as defenders get tired the last thing u want is keeling running at u.But we will see tomorrow

I predict for tomorrow:

Potter

Conroy - Bunce - Ward - Bimson

Kennedy - Sedgemore - Minton - Clarke

Ibe - Hallett

SUBS:

McKinney

Tait

Sterling

Keeling

Gregory or Chenery

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that, but there you go.

I would go:

GK McKinney
LB Bimson
RB Conroy
CB Bunce
CB Sterling
RM Keeling
LM Clarke
CM Minton
CM Sedgemore
CF Ibe
CF Tait
Subs: Potter, Theobald, Kennedy, Gregory, Hallett
That looks like a winner to me 2-0 Tait and Ibe <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wow.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wow.gif" alt="" />

Interesting to see all the football manager's and opinions on here.

Here's my twopenneth.

McKinney/Potter

Conroy-Bunce-Ward-Bimson

Kennedy-Sterling-Keeling-Clarke

Tait-Ibe

Reasons:

As Jeff said, we are playing good football but conceeding silly goals.

From the little action I've seen so far this year, we lose the ball too easily and our back men buckle when under some pressure. The other teams use a lot of pace when counter attacking against us.

To counter this, we need more pace at the back and someone to clear and get their nut on the crosses and head the ball out of danger. Heard that Conroy has the pace and Bunce should clear. Wardy for pace and Bimson for skill and a wise head.

For midfield, Kennedy in his best position out right. Then in midfield, how about Dom. He is not the best distributor but will get stuck in and be a presence in the middle, and knows where the net is this year. Although on the smaller side, could Keeling and Clarke play together, like one stays and one goes on a run. Imagine if the two could combine when going forward.

The front pair pick themselves at this time.

With the pace of Kennedy, Clarke and Keeling feeding the front two and the back 4 with Dom just in front keeping a tight ship, wonder if this line up might play more to its strengths.
