<strong>It must be hard to continue to support a club that is clearly being run down by its' owner. Those of us at ETFC must admire the remnants of EFC support for their patience. There is no point in the two sets of supporters arguing amongst themselves when they both have a common enemy.....wonder who??!! ETFC have had an outstanding season and it has been great fun to follow it. I agree with the last comment....EFC should die now...it is ill....why wait for relegation (is it true that 4 go down?).</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The revised Ryman League constitution for next season (subject always to ratification at the AGM in June) appears to be:
Teams from last season less bottom club relegated - top club promoted + 3 promoted from Div 1 + 1 relegateg from APL (sorry conference!) = 24. Four teams to be relegated 2002/03 two each to the new Div 1 North and South (or East and West depending on who you listen to).
2 * Div 1:
Current Div 1 (after promotion -3) + whole of Div 2 (less Romford who resigned and Cheshunt and one other who were relegated) + what appears to be NINE from div 3. This pool will then be divided into the two leagues. For 2002/03 top two of each will be promoted to premier division.
Everyone else who is left. Promotion and relegation to still be automatic, subject to having 'B' ground for 2 seasons (?). Other Feeder leagues will still have to apply.
Trust that's as clear as mud. It could all change though depending on appeals and the like to the FA.
