Just bought a new PC with a VGA video card.

How do I connect my Video or DVD player to this, so that I can copy my VHS videos onto my hard drive?

ie. What cable do I need to buy??

Thanks in advance.

Depends wether it requires USB connection, or FireWire connection.

If USB, should be just a case of connecting up and allowing your computer to 'Detect New Hardware', assuming you are running on X/P and have the correct software disc.

If FireWire, requires a FireWire card and connector.

Turn the PC off. Get your knob out and wipe it across the screen. Turn it back on and all your problems will be sorted....

That will be £200 please!!!!
