Further to Tackle's Good Idea...

Recommended Posts

Where can you get this paper and how much does it cost. They're 5ft x 3ft flags, I was thinking of joining them together vertically so it made Yellow and Blue stripes.

I like the letters idea though, if we can get the letters printed we could definately do that.

Ken you should go into the graphic design trade. As promissed to Glen unless anyone objects we can nick £100 from supporters club funds for the flags and looking at tonight's ECHO any singing, banging drums, blowing bugles, or flying flags will only help the club's cause by getting more youngsters through the turnstiles if they see or hear how much innocent fun it is.

Glen, i will have the cash down the club tommorow or thursday and i'll have a tenners worth mate.

We would need to redraw the crest unless you have a very high quality version for large format printing. We just need the crest. We usually print from a vector file produced in Adobe Illustrator (.AI file) or Corel Draw (.CDR file) and a redraw would cost £25 A bitmap at 150 dpi min. up to 300 dots per inch Max. will be OK if you have it in this form.

Best regards, Ralph [/color]

Do you reckon we could get ahigh quality version of the badge or are we gonna need them to do a redraw?

Is this your design A Non E Mouse?

Yep - that's it. As Yellow said based on a Sweden flag. I had "The Gulls" in slightly smaller text and the words spread out a bit more so the G didn't start where in the apex where the cross meets.

I was also thinking of a St. George (Red & White) with "Costa Del Canvey" on it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I also found another flag site that did a flag with the Essex coat of arms. Could have had "Essex Boys", "Essex No 1" or "One Team In Essex"

Thats a good idea about the essex flags. Maybe we should have "pub team from essesx" as after all thats all we are arent we. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Here's a link to the Essex falg (I love the old description - beats high heeled slappers and chavs)Its also got costs. They probably do St George flags etc. so you can compare costs.

Essex Flag

Her's another one that does wording and costs for St Georges etc.

Hampshire flags

What we need CIFCislander is a flag nicked from Allied Breweries or somewhere. We would certainly be the only club in the country touting a "Carlsberg" or "Stella Artois" flag - We are the original pub team from Essex after all!

How about this one -

Who Ate All The Pies??
