a qoute from the forums of altrincham

I think we can take the points at Canvey if we go for it from the off. Score an early goal and silence the home crowd. Build from the back and gain in confidence as the game progresses. Score another early in the second half and then coast to victory finishing off with an injury time third. It is so easy to talk a good game. We can do it, we just need a bit of confidence and a bit of lady luck for once oh and a ******* referee that can see two teams.

that must have been how they notched up their one away win all season. and as they have only scored 2 away goals they are hoping to double their total. and most of all there is no way they can silence the home crowd.

they probably will get a ref that can only see one team though, it seems that this season they dont seem to notice anything that happens to a player in a yellow shirt

tough game 3-1 canvey

They will see us as one of the weaker teams in the division and would pick out this game as a chance to pick up a point or 3.

We have to show that we are not that sort of team and send them back to Altrincham with nothing but an England win to celebrate.

Managed to somehow get a draw against Hereford but Dagenham and York have thrashed them and I imagine they have the worst goal difference in the Conference at the mo.

Will still be a tough game though.

Firstly Alty fans have a huge dislike about fans banging drums. If one is not able to create an atmosphere with their own voices then why bother. Drums are for music bands not for 15 non-league football fans on a wet terrace.

Secondly, is that fat [****!!****] still your manager, the one who owns those nasty pykie caravan parks? His name slips my mind.
