Enjoyed my day at Old Trafford yesterday with the Bee Army. Referee ruined it a bit by sending Barnet's keeper off, but they did well and the scenes when Dean Sinclair scored were brilliant. The stadium is something else, trouble was it looked empty with 43,000 fans in there! that would have filled most Premier grounds, some twice over.

I started the customary "S**t Ground No Fans" song, had to be done really!

by the letter of the law he had to go,but the law is an ass,and you could tell the ref didn't really want to send him off!

I think it is questionable whether it was deliberate or denying a goalscoring opportunity. The law states that a red card should be produced if a player"

"denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball"

I don't think either of these applied and a yellow should have been sufficient.
