These two are the first "big" bands I've got into. Much better then the wannabe acts of busted and mcfly <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/icon_band222.gif" alt="" />

Bought the new Franz Ferdinand cd at lunchtime.
On first listen, it should have been called 'You know what you're getting with Franz Ferdinand'.

Not knocking them at all. Great live.
I think that they're alright but any of those tunes could be on the first album really.
It may be the case that you appreciate it more when you've heard it a few times.
First two tunes are pretty good.

Got hold of a copy of the Babyshambles album the other day. Not as good as Up the Bracker but still a quality record.

Libertines and babyshambles aren't totally different.

They share a singer.

London Bridge was an excellent single. Album's not bad either.

Boxer Rebellion are worth checking out for those that enjoyed the last Cooper Temple Clause album.

Boxer Rebellion have a quality track on the Football Factory OST, and who said FF were great live, I saw em at T in the Park, it was their homecoming having made it and they were distinctly average as a live band.
