Drums at Burnham

Unfortunatly we wont be aloud our drums at the game tomorrow night due to Burnham council. Burnham FC are not aloud to play music before, at half time & after thier games due to the residential area they are in.

So it is up to all of us that make the trip to get behind the lads from the off old school styley. Its going to feel strange being at a game without the drums but we sing for 90mins with the drums so we can do it without the drums just this once.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!!!

Quite looking forward to tomorrow night. It will be a new ground to visit. Apparently Burnham's record attendance is over 2,000 for an FA Vase match against Halesowen back in the 80s so will take something special to beat that tomorrow!!!

This is from tonight ECHO,

CANVEY could have a secret weapon to unleash on minnows Burnham when the Islanders visit the Southern League Division One West outfit for tonight's FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay.

The original tie ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday at Park Lane and tonight's winners will pick up £10,000 prize money and the right to host Aldershot in the first round proper on November 5.

Now tricky winger Jon Keeling could be unleashed on an unsuspecting opposition as Canvey bid to avoid the kind of cup upset they themselves were providing during their years climbing to the highest echelons of the non-league game.

"Jon's had a bad time with injuries, but is not far short of full fitness now and is ready for a return to action," said Gulls' assistant manager Glenn Pennyfather:

"To have him available again would be a tremendous boost all round as he gives us extra attacking options."

Come on you yellows

Come on Yellow Army! Sing your hearts out for the lads tonight coz this maybe the beginning of a great cup run and i think this club is well overdue one.

Plus, this is Wardy's testimonial year so lets give him something to remember.

We dont want to go through something like we did against Slough a couple of years ago, so give it your all and help the boys through tonight.

Come on you Yellows!

I am Gutted.

First FA Cup game home or away i have missed since beating Wroxham,on our way to the Epic run which ended in the replay at Brighton in 1995.

Just spoke to the lad's in a pub along from Burnham's ground and they are in high spirits and UP FOR IT!!

I just hope the players are.

I reckon a win by two clear goals.....please.

Blimey Chris I bet you are. I'm sure the club will forgive you on this occasion for being one of us armchair fans.
If you find out any updates keep the rest of us informed (pretty please) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bisou.gif" alt="" />
