What a difference a Dan makes

Recommended Posts

Well done to Dan for saving that penalty. Made some fine saves. He deserves the credit for saving the day.

Gotta have been one of the best games in a long time!

Thought we played well today. Everyone worked so hard. On the whole played well as a team but a couple of occasions Keeling left on the wing with no defenders around but everyone failed to cross to him.

Think we tired a little in the second half - got a little scrappy at times and bad defending gave away a goal.

Today highlighted the difference between full and part time but til we get a bigger gate that aint gonna happen (less than 500 today!)

Welcome back Dan lets hope ya here to stay! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

To be fair to Richard I felt that he had earned his place, and up until York looked very steady. However, the mistake at York seemed to knock his confidence and the two FA Cup games were not his greatest performances.

I'm pleased that Danny has forced his way back in, but Richard is certainly talented enough to take this place back, so Danny will need to be 100% on his game to keep the number 1 spot.

Really think Rich is a good 'keeper but after york he has looked very shackey and low in confidence so Saturday was the best time to bring Danny back in.

I wouldnt say Danny has cemented his place back just yet after one performance but deserves a chance in the team now, specially after saturdays performance. If he keeps performing well then he. will deserve to stay in goal
