Great performance tonight with a tremendous hattrick from Allan Tait all of them headers.

Lee Boylan claimed the third although Dave McGhee's shot appeared to be on target anyway.

Thought Mitchell Lowes had an impressive game at right back. Read the game well and showed some great touches.

Lee Jay did well when he came on and a super corner provided Tait with his hattrick.

Could have been 7 or 8 to be honest and Tait has definitely played his way into Kingy's plans for Saturday. Surely he must start against Forest Green?

Jay did not do well IMHO!!

I thought he was class, he done very very well and as for Lowes we have some real young talent that has got to be knockin on the door.

Saying that, Greggors looked good tonight as well.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Lee Jay certainly looked class tonight and having not seen him before, I was most impressed indeed as the lad looks to have a lot of skill.

I wonder how long before he is given a chance in the Nationwide League now? I would say it is a good time to maybe have him on the bench and use him as sub to introduce him to this level before chucking him in at the deep end as a starter but on first look he excited me and I really think we have a good un on our hands here. Perhaps his debut tonight will have Dwain Clarke looking over his shoulder too and if that motivates him to play better too, that can only be a good thing as well. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Lee Jay has been consistently performing well for the reserves, and I'm glad that the younger lads can see first team opportunities, not something I feel has always been the case. Jay puts a fantastic cross in, I'm sure by the end of the season both him and Mitchell, as well as Leon Gordon, may push for at least a matchday squad place.

As for Allan Tait, I definately think that he needs to be tested as an attacking midfielder in the Conference, he was fantastic tonight and scored 3 superb headers.

Very impressed last night. Everyone played well, Danny didnt have to much but when he did get called upon made some good saves. Although the daggers didnt have as strong squad out as we did but as the saying goes "you can only beat whats infront of you" and we did that well.

The to young lads done very, very well. Cosidering Mitchell is a centre Midfielder he coped extremely well playing out of position and Lee Jay was always wanted the ball and putting cross after cross in the box which is what you want from your wingers and can only be a good thing for our strikers.

Very pleased for Tait after all the hard work he put into his performance.

Still trying to think who was MOM if you took Tait out.

I'd go for Ben Sedgemore, controlled the midfield and played some quality ball out wide and into the strikers.

Only criticism of Lee Jay was he got into some great positions but his final ball wasn't always the best but that will improve with experience. Saying that his delivery from a corner for Tait's third was esquisite and he provided another great set piece that Sedgers headed over near the end.

Ibe seemed poor yesterday, so why not place him in midfield? He has the speed, but not so good on deliveries. Not sure if he would last the full 90 mins though.

I think Tait could have scored even more yesterday if he played as a striker.

Great atmostphere at the match last night, I heard one guy ask what pub side are we playing!

Maybe we had more 1st team players than them!

What team do you think we should have on Saturday?

I feel this will be a very hard game and at least point is a must so it may not be the time for unforced changes, a defeat and a few results going against us could make the table look very different saturday night.

Interesting that Noto is not included in the Great Eckscape`s squad, is he injured or you just wouldn`t pick him? I was suprised Conroy and Bunce didn`t play during the week (again maybe they are not fit)as they haven`t played much football recently.

Boring i know but if everyone`s fit i`d go for

Potter

Duffy

Sterling

Chenery

Bimson

Kennedy

Sedgemore

Minton

Keeling

Ibe

Boylan

Subs

McKinney

McGhee

Tait

Hallett

Clarke

I don't really think that Mario took his chance as well as I thought he would. Tait looks like being a great player for us, but playing him as an attacking midfielder takes the pressure off to score goals. As a result, I think he will actually score more goals from this position.

I personally thought Tait looked a bit out of place in midfield, worked his socks off but you could tell it wasn`t his prefered position. I feel it will be a gamble to put him infront of someone who plays there every week, it may work and it would be great to have an attacking midfielder with a bit of bite.

I agree with your team Ronin but id take out Ibe and replace him with Tait. Him and Boylan worked well together last week & now has a hatrick in midweek so i think its a must that he starts. I wouldnt play him in Midfield.

Having Ibe and Hallett on the bench are good replacements to have if it isnt working for either Boylan and Tait.
