Their is a house in Broadstairs that had them up mid September!!!

Did he only put them up, or has he had them turned on? I can see the logic of hanging them while the weather is warmer, but not turning them on so early. Of course, we had temps in the mid 70's (f) the past few days, so it would have been a good time to hang them.

I guess it just shows how serious some people are about Christmas and making a big show of their decorations.

I suppose some people feel if they have to go through all that trouble to decorate, they may as well enjoy it as long as they can. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> That, or as morrisonsm said, it shows how dedicated they are to the holiday and the decorations. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

It seems to me as if these people are just trying to attract attention to themselves. They seem to think it makes them "interesting."
