I can't see this issue causing a problem for my little team.
For a long time we have disliked it at the end of the season there is only one place wort fighting for, now there is also one place worth fighting to avoid.
I think that the teams at the bottom of the table this year are going to be worse, especially in the latter half of the season. There is only one relegation spot, that means very few teams will really need to fight for survival, especially if teams like Bedford, Croydon and Sutton continue their poor run of results. I kind of hope it will be Croydon, that's nothing personal, I just don't like the ground!
In the first 9 games of our campaign I can tell you we've seen no pushovers. I think that is because the teams at the bottom are still in a position to turn things around, I think by the last 10 games we will all know who has gone down and where the despair has set in.
I remember visiting Dulwich last season, at the point where dispair had turned to accepting their fate with a pretty good sense of humour. The PA announced, "We would like to welcome the officals, players and supporters of Chesham United, we hope you enjoy your stay here, most teams do", priceless!

Well if we can average a point every other game from now on, we too should be free of "that" spot - even if we have a dramatic drop in form from now til the end of the season
Bring on the spellcheck - why is it when you've had a drink corordination between eyes and keyboard goes out the window! images/icons/confused.gif" border="0

Generally Mervs tackles are pretty sweet but he does have the habit of going in with both fet (feet even) at times.. images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0
