Started rather sluggishly and after Richard saved a penalty they then scored from the resulting corner.

Mario showed some flashes of inspiration. Had a great shot the keeper turned over the bar. Lowes and Jay did well. Jay showed some great touches and looks a excellent prospect.

Jason was definitely star man tonight

Was indeed. Looked very impressive. You will probably see the pictures in the Echo later on this week.

Quite entertaining, I'm not too convinced it was their strongest side though. Jason played exceptionally well and scored both. His first goal was a complete comedy of errors from a Lewes point of view! The defender facing his own goal just stopped in his own box with the ball, pressumably for the keeper to collect. But his team mates neglected to tell him that Jason was a couple of meters behind, and easily slotted the ball home. Second goal was a good header from a corner, and there could have been plenty of goals for both teams as the game opened up.

A special mention must go to Richard McKinney who made a string of great saves, including saving a penalty in the opening minutes.

Richard was fantastic, pulling off many great saves, at one point making a triple save all from point blank range. Excellent penalty save aswell.

1st half we were poor but to be honest alot of them havent played in a while and was to be expected but 2nd half we controlled the game and deserved to come back and win. Hallett was brilliant last night, showed so much passion for the game and capped it off with 2 deserved goals.

Lewes looked very good on the attack, broke with so much pace but thier number 5 has got to be one of if not the worst player ever to grace the park lane pitch <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Did give us a laugh though as he started to bite with the banter we were giving him.
