Should Scotland be independent?

Recommended Posts

Scotland is our best enemy, why? well we work with them we socialise with them and we batter them at every sport known to man other than pushing pee pots over a stretch of ice to a bullseye

They are up for every type of ridicule and lack the sense of humour to know when we are taking the mickey I.E. men in skirts, national food dish being a pigs bladder? etc

And most of all a football league where the teams coming 3rd would struggle to retain conference status

Strangly of course they are blessed with some of the worlds greatest areas of landscape

Leave then alone they are fun neighbors (they do not know that of course)

I'm as patriotic as the next Jock, but saying the Scottish League is great and has passionate fans is taking things too far. The gates in the lower divisions are on a par with the Ryman League and you can't take a league where each side plays each other 4 times seriously. The papers are always full of Celtic and Rangers as well which doesn't help.

Don't get me started on haggis and tartan mate, there's plenty of Scottish heritage to be proud of but not those.
