I have a feeling...

Hi,
You may be correct - the Non League Forums will not suit every club or every person.
I can only go by the number of posts made since September some 4,500 or so. See this page for the stats to date.
At the moment, due to technical difficulties, I cannot put a pull down menu on the top of the St. Abans forum, to enable you to quickly visit other parts of the site - I will correct this as soon as possible.
I started this forum as a service to non league fans - and it now contains features such as polls, and a chatroom - but I cannot force anyone to use it.
If I can improve the forums in any way, then I will do - other people have made some good suggestions, and where possible I have taken then on-board.
You may also find this page useful in seeing what other conversations are ongoing.
Regards,
Admin.

I see your point Zimmerman. Doesnt seem to be that many replies as there used to be. Give it time.

I think it is cause AFF and other such people are not in full flow just yet. Having a rest over Christmas are we?! Also not having a game yesterday cant help!

Oh and is there any more news on the affairs at the club? Im pleased to hear that the bar will be fully stocked, that the posters have arrived and there will be a double issue of the programme over Christmas. Well done!

On Friday morning, Lee Harding confirmed that the clubhouse would not be stocked for the Christmas games, despite his promises of a week earlier. Those well known enemies of the club, Steve Trulock and David Tavener, went to a wholesaler in Aylesbury early on Saturday morning, and the clubhouse is now fully stocked with draft and bottled beer. Well done to those two.
50 posters arrived at the Park on Saturday morning, December 22nd, rather than the 1,000 promised for December 10th.
In the words of AFF, it’s going to be good this season.

Just to finalise a couple of points. Lee Harding is NOT in the Caribbean and I'm more than sure that the posters arrived a little earlier than Saturday! Although you may not have been able to have one before then but then some of us have more influence than others!

Are you going to disagree with me on the programme side as well?
Oh, and lastly, if you are looking at this, Cookie, try and contain yourself a little better in you local in future! Cheers!
Merry Christmas

Hi HelenC.

I hear that there will be one programme printed covering both games.

I expect that it's a goodwill gesture by the majority shareholder. It saves the fans buying two programmes over Christmas. Disappointing for the players, I imagine, as it can't be good for income. Still. What do I know about anything?

Doing their best for The Club, as usual.

Well done to Barry Hilliard and Ron Thoms, by the way. They changed the notice boards on Hatfield Road last Wednesday, December 19th. We aren't playing Braintree on December 1st any more. Strange that. If it was up to me, I would arrange to change the advertising boards as soon as possible after each game. I'm sure that there is a good reason why they don't.
Great board this. I can hardly contain myself.
