I didn't buy a programme Tuesday as I don't buy away ones but flicking through someone else's I noticed an article on the history of Enfield FC and wondered if all these articles would be gathered together into a book and sold at the end of the season. I am still interested in the history of the old club and think many others would be and it is only home fans that will have the chance to collect all the programmes?

All as one book and costing about £10ish should shift a few copies.

This is a great idea Brunob. I'm interested in finding out more about the original EFC - I'm sure most other new Towners would be too. It would be great to see the book in the club shop one day alongside the DVD of the cup finals.

I believe that Alan Farmer does this history page .I will ask him if he could sort out something . He is still in touch with Dave Hicks so may be a programme style book can be produced.I have just read gill's comment on another thread I'm surprised it has got the attention it has.

Great idea. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I think I can help - I lent Neil Avey my collection of press clippings covering about two seasons in the APL in the 80s, plus the 4th round FA Cup run of 80-81. He's had it for ages but if he ever re-surfaces with it, I dare say we could scan a few old Gazette and Herald articles.
