With all the snow and rain we have had in the last week and the fact that Canvey's pitch is below sea level will the game be on tomorrow?

I really hope it is but fear for the pitch and the state it might be in. Just hope that if it gets called off that its called off early and we don't have the fisaco we had a few years ago against Ricay with everyone already in the ground before it was called off.

Can`t see why the game wouldn`t be on,the pitch is in the best condition ever. The ice/snow went a few days ago and we haven`t had that much rain in the last couple of days.

In fact i can`t remember the last time we had a home game called off because of a waterlogged pitch?

It's unlikely to be called off. Weather has been a lot milder recently.

Sorry Staying-up but your comment about being below sea level did make me chuckle somewhat.
Do you live on Canvey? and have you spotted the Sea-wall that prevents our beloved Island from being submerged at each flood tide. If being below sea level was a factor then i think "Mick the Pitch" would have his work cut out tommorow.

Seriously though you need not worry, the pitch is fine and if Grays should be 5-0 up at half-time i will be up on the sea wall wiv me spanner ready to open the flood gate LoL <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/Rofl.gif" alt="" />
