You cant compare fuc*ing McFly to Oasis! That's like comparing Steps to Pink Floyd or Led Zep!

I am in a band and i can see that McFly only know a few chords and have the writing ability of a 2 year old. Yeah, Oasis have gone really downhill since What's The Story but they are still far superior to McCrap!

Whats the story morning glory is now the biggest cringe worthy album of all time, the most underated album was Be Here Now which in my opinion is better than WTSMG.

Hearin tracks like Wonderwall, Roll With It, Dont look back in anger etc just makes you wanna turn the CD off.

To say they are the most Relevant band of the time is utter garbage there are so many better bands out there at the moment and I would say Oasis are living off their name now.

If like you say a new band came along with Heathen Chemistry and Dont believe the truth they would be classed second rate.

Absolutely right there Blooming Barmy Bongo... If you like rock music then you have to like Zeppelin as they were the band that set the standard for all others to aspire to.

Robert Plant is the ultimate lead vocalist and when you listen to to a Led Zep album when you realise that you have almost rock n' roll perfection - put the music of another band on after you listen to Zeppelin and to be honest everything else just sounds flat.

Oh for the music of the 60's and early 70's again... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

you are aware that there was an awful lot of shít about in the 60's and 70's, just like there is today. there were also some fantastic bands, just like there are now.

music has an amazing power to reminisce, it can take you back to another time. The music industry is producing as much fantastic music now as it always has, you just have to look a little bit harder for it, because commercial cráp is thrown at you all the time.

I don't think you can call "Power of Love" a joke. Probably one of the greatest love songs of all time.
