Can't go to the cup game today - so I thought I'd just run down some player highlights over the past few wins:

Lionel Perez: 'nuff said
Fabian Forde: could score more, but has enough skill, brain and talent to play some great football. I think he needs a full season to help him toughen up - but great loan deal
Daniel Braithwaite - (why no pen pix!?!) most probably the most impressive performances, his hair is...mad, but boy can he play football. He'll play at a higher standard - just hopefully not for a seaon or two!!
John Morgan - thank f*ck he's back
Demba Traore - yep, my joint most impressive player. At Braintree he drifted in and out the game, but he always has something to offer and is a threat on the wings. Maybe no Martin St.Hillaire (sp?), but young and talented

Obviously with the recent results the whole squad need praise, but without one or two main players to set us apart thing's could be a lot worse.

That said, let's continue to pick up the points. F*ck the cups.

And although a few fans that turn out, we're right behind you.

I thought a very depleted Enfield side were very unlucky not to get something out of yesterday's game against Basingstoke, going down 2-1 after conceding two early goals.

Paul Armstrong was outstanding - the most committed performance I've seen from an Enfield player for a while. The statisticians out there wil be able to tell us whether some kind of a record was set yesterday with all 3 members of the management team playing in a competitive match!

On to Tusday - can anyone advise on:-
1) Whether the Wealdstone game is likely to be on?
2) Whether we'll have any players fit enough to play?
3) Where are Wealdstone playing this season?

I would think it is!

To answer your questions:

1. Yes... Weather permitting!
2. A suitable team will be fielded - expect a number of debuts though.
3. At Edgware FC. White Lion Ground, High Street, Edgware.

See you there.

We lost 2-0 last night to them in the Middx Senior Cup, couldn't make it but herd we had a week team out, a lot of the youth played due to injuries.

It's a shame that clubs higher up in the leagues don't field full strength teams for the county cup competition. It's an old and well-established tournament that needs better treatment.

i note what you say but you must agree I'm sure that beating relegation is far more important then the MSC in addition EFC have a number of injuries in any case and they wouldn't want anymore at the present time.

We might have done but as THA said we have a number of injuries at this time we also have a number of good young players that need to be eased into the team, although this is a good cup comp its also a good game to "blood" the young ones we have in the squad without loseing any points in the league. I would have said if we didnt have a number of players out, we would have had a better team out than the one on tuesday night.

Fair points, however a good cup run with the chance of a medal at the end of it can lift players and the overall atmosphere at a club thus improving the league form. however, I accept that young players do need 'blooding'.
