Roberts was not most hated during the vast majority of his time as manager,in fact quite the opposite (only right near the end,and afterwards, did he become disliked). He was successful and the combination of Roberts & Borg was a great mangement team.He was also a still a very good player whilst with us.

I would put Loizou at No2 in the worst (or least popular).

Was Ted Hardy manager more than once?,because the spell under him in the early 90's(?),certainly wouldn't put him above Borg in my opinion.

Actually Steph to be be pedantic the seeds were sown before Tommy - George Ludford was the man who first took EFC out of the dildrums and paved the way for what was to follow.

Eddie still has to be the man tho as far as I am concerned.

Quite so Jim on both counts. I very nearly put Fred Callaghan in at Number 3 on the best, he always seems to be forgotton.

I thought about putting George as number 1 but still feel that Tom was the one that gave us the success. He was also the one that was the star of George's team.

He is still the record goal scorer I believe.

What have Tom Lawrence and George Best got in common.

They are record goal scorers in the FA cup.

Thinking of Putting George No1???

Surely you mean Eddie?

Borg's achievment of the winning the Ryman premier,is hardly in the same bracket as winning the Conference(Gola) and the FA Trophy.
