Adam Miller

Miller has been told he has no future at QPR, he has been on loan at Peterborough so could well end up there but i wouldn`t mind seeing him back in a Canvey shirt.

"Adam Miller hasn't featured in the starting eleven since the 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday in September. A died in the wool QPR fan, Miller signed for the R's just over a year ago and made a bright start in the first team with a man of the match performance in a defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Sadly as time has gone on he hasn't shown sufficient progress to impress Holloway and he spent two months this season on loan at League Two side Peterborough.

It seems a shame that a young player who won awards for his performances at Conference level is being released without ever getting a chance to show what he can do in his natural position of central midfield. Still, there's no room for sentiment in football."

Doubt Miller will come back. Will probably go to Southend or Colchester.

Why do you say that Great Eckscape? Did you not rate him as a player or is is something about Miller as a person that you do not like?

I would have thought that a player of his ability (now with league experience) would have been an asst back at Canvey so I find your comments interesting.

I think Adam Miller was heavily under the influence of Stimson when they were both at Park Lane, this contributed a lot to the fact that Miller left Canvey for Grays and sadly under a very dark cloud, from what I can remember.

I still thought that he was a quality player and I would still be prepaired to see him play for Canvey! we shouldnt hold a grudge for too long!

I thought he was a fantastic player, but this club should be built on loyalty and that is something that all Miller's footballing ability will never give him.

I think it's safe to say he won't be coming back to Park Lane after the way he left.

(At least I hope not!)

He is a good, not great player, but he would never be allowed back by certain people associated with the club and the fans who remember what happened would never forgive him.

Not even if he scored a hat-trick against Man Utd in the cup or scored the winning goal that won the conference! I'm one of these people who remember and i would rather us get someone who is not of Miller's standard in the team, than Miller himself. He can rot for all i care, regardless of how good he is.

I'd have him back in a second, lets face it, who in any squad doesn't want to do better. we don't know what he was offered, but if its better who are we to argue. i'm sure we have players in our squad whose last team are doing their nut about him leaving them. loyalty is fine when it suits us.

so in the unlikely event he comes back, i'll be delighted

I enjoy supporting football at this level because we are out of the multi-million pound world of international corporate businesses and down at grass roots level. The joy of watching clubs like Canvey is the friendly banter on the terraces and the way players talk to (and respect) the fans - and vice versa. Football at Park Lane is about the players and the fans, loyalty to the club and mutual respect. I don't feel Adam Miller has earnt the right to be part of Canvey any more.

I don't really care about his footballing skills; I can watch world class players on Sky almost every night of the week. I do care about his attitude to the other players, the management team and the supporters.

Grays might deserve Miller, Canvey does not.

Would never have Miller back. Good player but needs to grow up as a person.

Must say i`m suprised at the level of feeling against Miller, the way i heard his departure was good young player approached and pressured by another club with false promises, our managment tell him we want him to stay but he will have to make his own mind up, more pressure from opposition club, Miller leaves we get Minton.

I don`t think Miller will be returning to Canvey anytime soon but a bad decision made when he was 21? wouldn`t put me off signing him.

As i say this is only what i heard on the terraces so maybe i`ve missed something and there`s more to it.

Rumour on the Aldershot forum that Miller has been approached by Grays - apparently the same fee as Shots were paid by QPR - only a rumour and I can't see Miller making a drop back into the Conference now he's had a taste of the league.

Yeah i saw that as well and there`s was also a posting before that saying he was signing for Aldershot on Monday!

As you say only rumours and only time will tell where he ends up.
