Another note, there is a link on the Hornchurch site where their fans can download and print of a PDF poster of their next up-coming fixture to put about their workplaces and schools etc. I remember doing something similar for our FA Trophy Semi-Final against Chester when I was at school, so don't see why others back home can't do it too.

We have done a similar thing too, with flyers created that people could download, print off & deliver, that listed upcoming games.

Even if a few people download, print and only deliver to the street that they live in, it all helps.
So far I have done two print runs myself of 1,000 copies each time.

If you would like copies emailed as examples then feel free to ask!

Referring back to what was said earlier in this thread about a Fans Forum with the Manager. Had a look at the Walton & Hersham messageboard to discover this - http://members.boardhost.com/WALTON/msg/1137663947.html. It's a monthly report from their Manager and includes reaction to games and matters happening behind the scenes like their 'Kid for a Quid' scheme.

I know we get comments from Jeff, Glenn, etc. in the programme. But for those that don't purchase a programme very often, (myself included) how about Keith or even Wayno putting something similar on here? We know they acknowledge this place exhists otherwise they'd start up their own forum.

The badge change was due to copyright issues. No idea about the sponsor.

I don't know why he bothers with Thorney Bay in it's current state. Either do to it what he's done with Kings, or sell it to someone to build on it. The place is a hole.

How could our badge be copyrighted?

Also, has anyone seen the Canvey coat of arms? It's quite weird. Maybe we could use it. Haha.

I think £5.50 is a bit expensive for a conference team.

When i go to millwall (please forgive me) it cost me only £7 to £12 depending on who the away team are.

maybe we could use this system and say £3 for a game against forest green and £5.50 for a game against Grays or Exeter.

its interesting though that other websites still refer to our old badge than the new one, another case of marketing!!!

It's not been widely announced that you have changed your badge. If someone could e-mail me a copy of the new one, I will arrange for it to be changed on the Gravesend website.
