This was the worst game I have ever been to, right from the start. Our first touch was a Duffers simple header back going out for a corner.

Burnham performance was miles better than this, our performance was only slightly better than the officials who were appalling.

Clarke never made a decent cross all night and the ball was taken from his boot 11 times. It was hard to wrk out where he was playing, if it was up front he should have been knocking the ball down for Hallet, he did not do this once. If he was out wide their defenders steered him out further until he ran out of space and gave away a goal kick.

Hallet never got any service and looked lost and isolated, though at times he worked hard.

Duffy looked nervous and was guilty of ball watching to many times.

I heard a rumour Minton played but it was probably only a rumour.

Chenners took too long on the ball and most of his clearances went out of the park or were blocked by their players closing him down.

McKinney made some brilliant one on one saves which hid the fact his poor performance cost us the goal and helped to unsettle the side. His first six kicks went out for a throw in.

Keeling looked bright but only in spasms, why he came off nobody around me seemed to know.

Ibe came on and looked lazy and slow, but we where treated to two moments of class which left us wondering what he could do if he worked hard.

The new guy looked promising and stong at times, we were definetly out of sorts tonight and lacked spirit.

The yellow army started enthusiasticly enough but were silenced by our own team.

The first goal was a simple easy cross Richard called for it the defender left it, so did Richard the rest is history, silly goal.

The second was even worse we had a corner last few minutes the bench ushered everyone forward even the keeper. Before they get there we take a fast short corner and Clarke polishes of a dour performance by giving the ball away while Richard was halfway up the field heading for their goal.

The rest was history, the officials were the worst I have seen.

For the first time in my life I left a game of football before the whistle.

I have no doubt the players wrer trying, it just did not look like it.

Na, it has to be said you had a very bad night, something to do with Friday evenings? It happened to us last week up at Boreham, atleast you were saved the embarrasement we did by us being the the same league as you!

Good luck with that keeper... Great in some aspects but [****!!****] in others!
