It looks as though the dreaded suspension has hit, my friend at Heart 106.2 has emailed me to say he has just heard through their news wires.
doh! to put it very mildly!

Well I suppose in reality it doesnt come as any suprise but the news section does make it sound like an offer to take over the club was made this morning but Lee Harding rejected it! Let me guess the deal wasnt good enough for him? This mess which we are in is mainly his fault anyway but he is not big enough to hold up and his hands, stand aside and let someone else give it a go. Due to this, the club is now in an even worse position than before.
Well thanks very much.
If I am wrong regarding who has final say over the handing over of the club then please tell me, but if I am right then I have a feeling that this may go on for a very long time!
Today is a very sad day and it can only get better.

[ 16 January 2002: This message was edited by: Choco ]

This is indeed a sad day in the history of St Albans City football club.
Let us hope the matter is resolved speedily and the suspension is lifted before too many games are postponed.
The fact that the League Committee are meeting again on Monday is encouraging, perhaps an indication that a solution is imminent?

[ 16 January 2002: This message was edited by: Rob the Saint ]

'A Sad Day', I think this is an understatement, this is unarguably the lowest point that the club has ever been.
The present position is not only so sickening that words can not describe, but is also a total humiliation.
I admit that I sat on the fence for the long time, even for a brief period were Pro-Harding but over the last 67 months have been climbing further and further up the 'Harding hate mountain' and today has lifted me right up to the tip, If I had a gun right now.....
