SHOULD DRINKING LAWS BE CHANGED

Recommended Posts

I dont drink, so I dont care!

But I think its an appauling idea, if most 18 year olds cant be trusted when drinking, then why should be lower it to 16 year olds.

Maybe we should do what they do in America and make it 21 year olds, and then you have to show ID whenever you are buying ANY FORM OF ALCOHOL.

beer and spirits should be compulsory for 16 year olds. when i was 16 i was drinking that god awful thunderbird stuff. nowadays they don't know how good they've got it with all these alco pops that taste like ribena. it's not proper drinking at that age unless it tastes like crap and makes you ill.

Bridget, my feelings are, if a shop keeper can get away with serving it they will, if a kid wants to try it they will, the test is if they like it or not, my 16 old son is having a party this week, we are not supplying any beer or spirit, but its up to the parents if they choose fit,or if a kid wants to try his luck, they will, personally I drank under age,

As for your sons party good shout about the beer, but remember its your house so your responsible for who's in it and getting pi$$ed!!!
