..............for Mr. Steve Ward.

If selected on Saturday it's number 400 for our own "Ginger Sex God" and i predict a clean sheet and Wardy to nick the winner

Well done mate. You are priceless

If we're 4-0 up with 2 minutes to go and win a penalty, Wardy should take it!!!

Specialy after the penalty he took in his testimonial, as the saying goes "You dont save those"

Wardy it a true legend and a great bloke to match. Well done on reaching 400

Check out the photo's on the Crawley game.

Canvey v Crawley Photo's

Check out the photo CTACCI0014 (number 7 of the 81 photo's)

Sums it up really - 6 Crawley players and only Wardy to stop them !! He doesn't even look bothered

Well done on your 400th and congrats on MOTM.

Brilliant and as I said on another thread, it is a shame that the club could not have made some sort of presentation to Steve on Saturday as recognition of his 400th game for the club.

Not many players get to play 400 games for a club and Wardy at least deserved this to have been announced before the start of the Crawley game on Saturday so that the fans could have acknowledged this feat with an ovation for our "Ginger Sex God", an undoubted Canvey legend. Anyway, that they did not does not do them any credit whatsoever and I join with everybody else on this board in paying tribute to Steve on his magnificent achievement and now look forward to his 500th in a couple of seasons time.

Great achievement by Steve especially these days where there is so little loyalty in Football and its also great that he is still playing as well as ever, lets hope there are many games left in him for Canvey.

Indeed i did "Twice" to be exact. And then again in the clubhouse after when i presented the MOM. Wardy even gave a speach after for those who stayed around long enough.
