saw him on a 'where are they now' type programme.

he'd had his tongue removed and his wife was translating what he was "saying".

even looking like that, he was still puffing away and knocking back the ales.

i'm not sure if he ever played for an ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE side.

He was in HR Pufnstuf,used to love it as a kid.With Freddy the talking Flute as his sidekick.Those wacky 70s.
