Been a tremendous season for Spurs and yes, it looks as if we can hopefully look forward to Champions League football next season all being well.

I was a season ticket holder there for many years (before being priced out by Mr Sugar) and it does my old heart good to see the way Martin Jol has turned it all around after so many poor seasons, mediocre managers and the club being a shambles on and off the field.

Long may it continue and also isn't it just the icing on the cake to see the Gooners having such a poor (by their standards) Premiership season? It made me puke going into work the night after the Scum had beaten Real Madrid in the Bernabau Stadium where all the blokes I work with (needless to say being that common breed, Arsenal fans who never actually go) were signing Arsenal songs and generally "giving it the large" - as I pointed out, it is indeed a great result but do not count Real out yet, they are always capable of scoring at any time and with all those great players in the team are more than capable of coming to Highbury and winning well on the night.

Anyway back to Spurs, I think that the signing of Davids was a master stroke and although Mido had shall we say, a very dodgy record of a lot of clubs in a very short time before getting to Spurs, he is quality and Jol should make sure that when his loan is up at the end of the season he is signed permenantly for sure, something that I am sure Mido wants and will almost certainly do if Spurs are in the Champions League, providing the clubs can agree a mutually acceptable fee.

Yeah thoroughly enjoyed myself apart from being sat in the west stand which seems to be full of wannabe managers and they cant beat non-league football for banter Example
