Enfield suffered a second away defeat 1-0 at sittingbourne in a very lacklustre display.
Today's Team 1 Steve Wright 2 Kevin Kilroy, 3 Michael spencer,4 Nick Turner ,5 Wesley Borghys,6 Curtis Johnson,7 Sam Judge, 8 Paul Oshin, 9 Marlon Stuart, 10 Danny Gabriel, 11 Sherwin stanley,Subs 12 Lee Allinson, 14 Grant Osborn, 15 Mark Whittington ,16 Warren Leader GK Paul Daley.
No Leon Green today and Mark whittington was surprisingly on the bench.

A strong wind was in enfield's favour but it was sittingbourne with the first opening inside 6 mins Paul Ainsworth shooting well off target from 30 yards. After 8 mins sam Judge got Marlon stuart away but steve williams just smothered the ball before marlon could get a clear shot away. A wind assisted Danny Gabriel corner almost caught williams out and as he dropped the ball his defenders scrambled it clear. A shot then well off target by clint Gooding , A very good move by Bradley spice was well broken up by wes Borghys on 32 mins but no more significant action in the first half with both sides struggling to cope with the bitterly cold wind. The 2nd half saw a spell of pressure from sittingbourne with the wind behind them and a very good chance for Spice but he scuffed his shot wide. A free kick was then given to sittingbourne on the edge of the box But steve wright was more than equal to Bradley spice's free kick. A good chance for Enfield set up by Judge and Gabriel and Marlon stuart's shot saved by williams trapping the ball between his legs. But on 56 mins sittingbourne scored the decisive goal A free kick just inside E's half was knocked down to James Campbell and his low shot from the edge of the box found its way through a ruck of players and into the bottom corner. A swinging wind assisted corner for sittingbourne was almost taken in and steve wright did well to keep it out and he collided with the post and was shaken up a bit. Lee Allinson came on for michael spencer 60 mins. Sherwin stanley almost put in paul Oshin but he was robbed of the ball at the vital moment .Then a fine run by Danny Gabriel and a good stop by williams to his right. Sherwin stanley crossed for gabriel soonafter but he headed well wide, A free kick by Rick spiller was dangerously bobbing around and Nick Turner cleared the danger. On 80 mins Leader and Osborn came on for Stanley and Johnson . A final late flurry by E's but no real chances with sittingbourne packing their defence , Att 152 . A disappointing display to say the least, Thanks to our fans on making the trip it was good to see a lot of you there .

First off thanks to Son of Sam for inspiration and Russ for the lift right lets get down to business. It was brass it was so cold on the stand side Glynn Hyatt turned bright red. The burgers were ropey, my second pint was too watery oh yeah and we didn't play well, some players didn't want it in their hearts, to be fair both sides were poor in fact Sittingbourne went sideways and backwards so often i thought maybe Butch Wilkins was coaching them but then after all about 10 touches larrup up over the stand and out of the ground.Danny Gabriel did a lot of running, our defence was strong but they got the breaks. It happens. no need to get upset we were bound to lose sometime somewhere we've got enough about us to do Waltham forest next week so chin up lads both on and off the pitch. What was good was going somewhere where the home fans actually sing. The Broadway bank with their "Oooh to, oooh to be, oooh to be a brickie" . Yeah whatever your players play like brickies end of. And they might have the wings of a sparrow but you won't find many Jews to [****!!****] on in Enfield you silly Kentish soppy sods. At least the Yiddos did the business 'gainst Brum. GET IN!!!
And then I got some blue pills off of a mate , but I tried one in the pub. Not an inkling.
