Good afternoon all

It has been confirmed that the admission prices for the above re-arranged match at Berkhamsted Town will be the normal rates charged on the gate.

EFC contacted BTFC to request that a gesture of goodwill was shown by at least reducing the charge but this was point blank refused by the BTFC Chairman according to their secretary. I feel this is very disappointing indeed.

EFC has made enquiries with the SFL but unfortunately there is no rule to oblige BTFC to reduce the admission rate so I am afraid all our loyal supporters will have to pay the full amount.

My sincerest apologies but it was not for the want of trying!

You had better do your bit in helping to relegate them to make up for it and get a bit of justice.

I think you'll find that Chairman and Manager are one and the same at Berko so not sure if he knows much about the admin side of the game or goodwill gestures in these circumstances. It's surprising, because most other clubs would at least reduce admission prices in this situation.

Hopefully, we'll get some points off them on Saturday and then you'll do the same on the following Tuesday. Your game there is their game in hand on us so, obviously, it would be useful if they didn't win it!

I may have lost the thread here,
Why would you expect to have a reduced entrance fee for a re-arranged fixture ?

I think we should just get John to take his "Mobile" burger van and park it outside their gate and rake in all the profits from their own fans by undercutting the price of their Burgers etc etc.
Then Tow the Van + profits back to Potters Bar. They wont need all that money next year back in the Spartan South Premier.

I will be staging a protest and not going at all. I'm not gonna waste another penny of my hard earned cash (well Darren's hard earned cash) at berko. Do they think we're made of money? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

Likewise . I hope our board keeps this in mind But its not like we can screw them in future with their away support of 3 like the fans they brought to the christmas fixture.
