2.30 is a good idea. It gives everyone the option of taking in a 'proper' match, and / or just the apres-match.

30 mins each way is not going to attract many people, and for an all star line up (ie the best of the ESL) it is hardly worth the effort.

The only 30 mins each way games are under 14s school matches.

With a good line up, it could be a game worth going to - but not if only 30 each way.

From my viewpoint though, it depends on how many presentations are to be made.

If it is, say half hour worth, for medals, Cups?

Players of season etc..., then the Urchinettes probably want to be part of it and therefore as the match is only an exhibition, it seems logical to cut the match down to 30 minutes E/W.

Match then finishes at 4.15ish, if kicking off at 3.00pm, leaving good time for presentations and more importantly, people not drifting away.

No - a 30 min each way match is not going to attract anyone to it - it is pointless to have it.

A full length match starting at 2.30 is the logical answer.

It a select XI is to come down to play a match, then a full length match is the only possible way forward.

I rather think the Rom Rec would have a lot to say about 'half a match'.

dagger...that is only your opinion and you have made it once already...personally I agree with max and I think that you have got the wrong slant on the events of the 6th May...this is an exhibition match ot a competitive match

it is not a football match per se..it is an end of season thank you by us to our players...our staff...the ESL in general and all of the participators in this great season we are having...

as for the RC ...what has that got to do with it... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

anyway...your point is noted as indeed will everyone's before a decision is made...but lets not have an argument please..

thanx..
