Despite the 0-0 scoreline An entertaining match today against Andy Leese's rejuvenated side. The Teams Enfield 1 Paul Daley 2 Kevin Kilroy 3 Michael Spencer 4 Nick Turner 5 Wesley Borghys 6 Paul Oshin 7 Curtis Johnson 8 Lee Allinson 9 Ryan Hall 10 Danny Gabriel 11 Sherwin Stanley ,Subs 12 Sam Judge 14 Grant Osborn 15 Leon Rolle. GK Steve wright

Potters Bar 1 Richard Heyward 2 Adam Keepence 3 Sam Ledger 4 Ryan Harris 5 Carl Ashton 6 Luke Smith 7 Glenn Adams 8 Neil Jordan 9 Richard Howard 10 Mike Lyon 11 James Dickie subs 12 Ben Hill 14 Tom Burke 15 Andy Aransibia 16 Dave Blower 17 Andy Martin.

An early opening from potters bar has cleared away by Nick Turner , E's first chance fell to Ryan Hall from sherwin stanley's cross but he put his effort wide of the target with 6 mins gone, Lee Allinson's corner almost fooled potters bar with an unexpected cross to the outside of the area but his shot was just over Hayward's bar. On 10 mins a Sherwin Stanley cross was met with an overhead kick by Ryan Hall with the ball going inches wide. Curtis Johnson put Hall clear only for him to shoot wide. At the other end Richard Howard tried his luck from range but was well off target. A good effort by Glenn Adams was then blocked by Wes Borghys ,Adams again with a promising foray forward but Borghys aghain on hand to clear up the danger. On 28 mins Carl Ashton's corner almost caught out paul Daley but Lee Allinson was at the far post to head away the danger. A freekick by Allinson looked to have given Danny Gabriel a fine chance but he was robbed of the ball as he tee'd up . A good move by Michael Spencer and Ryan Hall gave curtis Johnson a great chance but he lobbed just wide of the goal. On 36 mins a fine lay off by Spencer and Allinson's shot was saved by Hayward. Allinson's corner on 43 mins caused Haywood an uneasy moment but he just managed to knock the ball away at the last moment. In the 2nd half Andy Martin replaced Carl Ashton and a very quiet opening from both sides . On 53 mins Glenn Adams crossed for Mike Lyon and his shot was blocked by kevin kilroy. An exchange between Ryan Hall and Sam Ledger saw both of them given a lengthy lecture from Referee Mr Field. Wesley Borghys was then taken off as a precaution due to a dislocated thumb and was replaced by Gbenga Sonuga. A bit of home pressure soon followed as Howard shot wide and a freekick by James Dickie was headed over E's bar by Ryan Harris on 62 min, Harris was then booked for chopping down Ryan Hall. Ben Hill on for Dickie 67 mins. A shot by Luke smith was well off target for potters bar. A silly foul by Lee Allinson on 73 mins just outside E's box presented Ben Hill with a free kick and it was very close to opening the scoring . E's came forward with a good spell of their own and Sherwin Stanley forced his way through a ruck of potters defenders and tee'd up Curtis Johnson his fist effort was well saved by Hayward but Curtis somehow managed to put the rebound wide (It was A gilt edged chance) A good chance at the other end with Nick Turner blocking Richard Howards drive ,Nick was injured in the process and needed to be treated for several minutes. Smith replaced by Aransibia 80 mins , Potters bar almost won the game when a long cross was met by Gbenga Sonuga and Paul Daley pulled off a fine one handed save from his own player and then Howard blazed the rebound into the side netting from a tight angle. Neil Jordan then took down Curtis Johnson and was booked for his trouble ,A very late foul on Ryan Hall and Kevin Kilroy's free kick was wasted as nobody managed to get on the end of it. Mr Field soon blew up .Att 151, On reflection a good point for E's today against a side very much in form.

He didn't have time to control the ball, just hit it as it came back out to him, after Hayward had saved the first shot. He looking good in midfield, getting better each game.

I would describe that moment as a clash between the two best players on the field on the day. Couldn't see from my angle if the rebound was saved or not.
