Canvey Island v Woking

Canvey Island have the luxury of a virtually fully-fit to choose from.

Ben Sedgemore (knee) is the only definite absentee, while Jon Keeling (back) could make his first start in nearly six weeks.

Neil Smith and Sam Cockerill are both doubtful after picking up knocks against Hereford.

Karl Murray, who burst a blood vessel behind his eye last week, will be in the squad again but Justin Richards (ankle) remains out.

I can`t see Sterling being involved and according to the Echo Minton is doubtful <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Will be good to have Keeling available <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good news Richards is out for Woking. He is a quality player.

Mints is likely to be injured so can see Allan Tait starting in midfield.

Likely to be another low crowd with Champions League football on the TV although why people would want to stay in and watch AC Milan v Lyon beggars belief!!!

Wonder if John Carew will play tonight? eh Linney? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Will be a good game to win tonight. Kidderminster aren't playing and if Exeter can do us a favour against Cambridge we can create that three point gap we lost on Saturday.

Also a slight chance we could go above Woking tonight. All it needs is Grays to beat Gravesend and us win about 12-0.

Two changes to tonight's line-up from Saturday:

Kezie Ibe starts ahead of Jason Hallett and Chris Duffy is in for Stuart Bimson.

Jon Keeling begins tonight's game on the bench.

Live Commentary of the match is presented by BBC SCR here:

BUGGER! No commentary yet and we're one down after eight minutes! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

EDIT: 2-0 down. Some stern words needed at half-time! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Play suspended at Cambridge Utd against Exeter City due to a serious injury to a Cambridge player - The players have been made to leave the field and return to their dressing rooms. Doesn't sound too good.

EDIT: Play has resumed now after about a ten minute delay. Cambridge player took a boot to the throat and stopped breathing.

F/T Canvey Island 0-2 Woking - Sounded dire from the Radio Commentary. Nothing to keep them entertained from either side.

Another excellent crowd at Park Lane tonight - 358.

Absolutely dreadful night in every way and one of the poorest games I think I have ever seen.

Took the wife along tonight to see her 1st game for about 20 years and it is safe to say that after that it will be a long, long time till she comes to another game again.

358 people there, abysmal performance from Canvey who seemed unable to string two passes together all night, no atmosphere whatsoever in the ground and freezing bloody cold. A night to forget for absolute certain.

Poor performance tonight though we did have chances in the 2nd half and their keeper was outstanding.

It is getting very embarrassing regarding the crowds right now. 358 tonight and there must have been at least 60 from Woking. Jeff King even hinted in the programme that they can't survive on these poor crowds for much longer which might have been a hint towrds a move elsewhere.

The club don't help themselves sometimes. The next game against Kidderminster is played on Goof Friday the sameday Southen have a big home against Gillingham. Common sense would say play that home game on a Saturday.

Well maybe if some more people tried to get behind the team instead of the same 10 people singing then things would be better!!!

To be honest, apart from the Commentators who were positioned in the Press Box. Those 10 or so supporters singing was the only other thing you could hear.

Even got a mention at the end. Something about someone carrying a big Yamaha bass drum on their back? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yeah that was Linney. It just irritates me when nobody bothers making the effort. Yes it was a crap game but I know people who left the ground when the second goal went in. I mean why the [****!!****] did they bother coming!!!!?

In terms of no atmosphere, I've been there when we've won 4-0 in front of a decent crowd and there's been no singing and no atmosphere whatsoever. I don't particularly want to go back to that!!!!
