Guys.

Just a few pointers when you arrive at Brimmo on Easter Saturday.

You will be welcomed with open arms as usual and we hope you have a good afternoon but leave without the points.

We ask that no supporter stands in front of the main stand nor on the yellow hatched area. This is because the stand is so low that people sitting down would not be able to see over those standing. Two pieces of orange netting will stop people from standing in front of the stand and we ask that everyone observes this request.

Supporters will still be able to walk in front of the stand, to get from one end of the ground to the other, but you will need to walk around the netting. Please do not try and walk behind the stand.

Most of the seats have a name plate on them. The name plate has been sponsored by supporters but this does not give the supporter the right to sit in the seat during the game.

The only reserved seats are those for directors and sponsors.

The club supermarket will be open as usual and so will the JETS Hanger.

Goalden Goal tickets will be on sale as will 50/50 tickets(last week's prize was £168.00!)

Look forward to seeing you on Easter Saturday.

Andy

Saves me asking you to move so that others can see. Also lets me watch the game as well as looking after you.

Communication is a two way process. If what I wrote is understood then thats fine. If it aint, then I may have well kno bovvered

You had better let Enfield Horn know if he can bring his air horn along to Goldsdown Road. We wouldn't want him upsetting the neighbours behind the stand!

Perhaps he should bring a rattle for this fixture!

He'll be there with his horn and I believe two relatives of his are Enfield mascots on the day.

WHO !

Your former Mayor and Southbury Rd announcer.Pat Cunneen

Now famous for 'working' the microphone at ETFC games. Talks more drivel than ever, makes more errors than ever, but i still find him entertaining.
He's a bit like 'controversial reffing decisions'.Can be annoying, but there would be less talking points without them.

I think you'll find that our safety officer might have something to say about that.

I have been asked to relay this Message from the ETFC Safety Officer to "The Horn Family" of EFC. Please do not bring your Air Horns with you to Goldsdown road for the game next Saturday as due the position of the ground at Goldsdown Road we do not wish to upset of annoy the local residents. That is one of the reasons we are not allowed to play any music at Midweek Evening Games.

We now have a good relationship with them and would not like this to have to change.

By all means you can sing as loud as you like, but No Air Horns etc please.

Lets hope its a stonking Match.

Many thanks

Dave Farenden
ETFC Safety Officer

What a crock of S**t! To ask us not to bring the Horns on a Saturday AFTERNOON is shocking & out of order!! we have been to 7/8 ground this season maybe more, that are on residental sites and not one person has complaned about the noise. Infact some fans have asked were to get them from!! Enfield Horn has started something now!! Will you be takeing your horn Enfield Horn?? I will!!!!

Then our stewards have the right to eject you from the ground. Why can't you guys respect the wishes of your host club and just come and enjoy the game within the ground rules?

I have to say I agree that it's farcical to ban airhorns or whatever from a football ground. It's a football ground, for chrissake! What next, will everyone have to sing quietly? Wear rubber-soled shoes?

Bizarre request as far as im concerned, how do the residents around Tottenham & Arsenal's grounds survive.
Its for 90 minutes for crying out loud, and anyway the noise of the crowd & banging on the stand must be far worse.

For Christs sake...
Bring on the Horn...Bring on the Crowd and Bring on the Noise.
It is a football match.
More noise - better the general banter in the ground.
Bring it on - can't wait. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />
