It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you that our old friend Carol Collop has passed away last thursday. Carol will be remembered as an employee of the club at southbury road where she worked waiting tables in the starlight rooms for some time in the late 1980s - early 90s . Carol then became a receptionist at Bath Road offices working closely with Ed Penn,Larraine Fisher, and of course Mr Lazarou. She was a regular fan during our stay at Borehamwood often seen with Georgina Balcombe and Paul & Larraine Fisher. I last saw Carol buying a packet of fags in the Total petrol station in bullsmoor lane a couple of years back and she was concerned that her employment was coming to an end . Carol was only in her mid 60s .

On behalf of Enfield FC supporters club and everyone else at Enfield FC I would like to express our deepest sympathies to Carol's son Mark ,Daughter Angie,Son in law Gamil and Carol's grandaughter Kirsty (who I know personally) I will update funeral arrangements as soon as I have them . God Bless you Carol.

Tony Waters ,Enfield FC supporters club committee.

On behalf of my mum, dad, nan and myself(& my family), I would like to express my sincere condolences. Carol was a very lovely lady who will be deeply missed.

It might be nice to pay our respect to her this saturday , perhaps with a minutes silence? It would also be a nice touch to do it this Saturday as we are playing the Town- Would be nice to reunite EFC fans (past and present) in memory of Carol?

Any chance Andy? or Gilli?

Today I had my first major duty as a member of Enfield F C supporters club in attending carol's funeral . She was very popular and the chapple was reasonably full. Thanks to Tracey and steve for sending along the flowers from Enfield F C .
Also there was some familiar faces Julien & Neil from Bath Road offices and Terry Back who also thought very highly of carol. I would also like to mention carol's eldest Grandaughter Kelly who did her family very proud in reading a tribute to carol which she did incredibly well.
Goodbye carol we will never forget you. From all your friends at Enfield F C.
