It seems very quiet here at the moment, so perhaps we need someone to provoke discussion. Here we go...

I reckon that, lying in 6th place and only 8 points behind the leaders, Canvey are still the team to watch. I think we can do it. Nay, I think we will do it. With 25 games to go we have been used to being the front runners and others have been chasing us. Now it is their turn to be chased by us.

We have the quality, we have the ambition. We have a Conference graded ground, Only thing lacking so far is the rub of the green.

Over to you George/Baldy/EFM (although, let's be honest, St Albans only stand a snowball's chance). Your thoughts please.

It is quiet on here Merv. I’m not missing all those rubbish posts though. Maybe just nothing to comment on for the time being. Just wondering from what people have seen so far, if all fit and available, what the best starting line up people think we have. Is there still a bit mixing to do or even more “comings and goings” to occur to get the right balance and passion.

[color:"red"] Merv, I agree we have the talent in the team, and we haven't had too much "rub of the green" although Duffy's had a bit of luck with a couple and Knight with one at Aylesbury.

I like the idea of getting a couple of younger players kicking the butts of the senior players ... let's get them really hungry !! It's still pretty tight from third place down, and if we can build some consistency, maybe we'll see St Albans, Purfleet and Aldershot slip up (watching out for Kingstonian). I still don't think we can forget about Billericay, they are pulling off some great results.

Hunger for the title is the biggest thing we need. [/color]
