Mouse,

There's commitment and there's madness. Just stay on the right side of the line mate!

Matt,

Went to see Wycombe play the other week. I understand why you lot drink!

Saw Gavin Cowan play there for the Mighty Shrews, and no, there wasn't a bloke following him with a pooper-scooper.

Matt, what's going on with John Gorman? Heard he had quit the Wycombe job because his wife had died.

Dunno, I don't follow League football. From what I understand though, he's been granted "compassionate leave" by the Board because his Wife died in February and he hasn't really had time off to grieve. Her death came literally weeks after Mark Philo died and it's taken it's toll on him now, what with them losing their unbeaten run as well and just holding a playoff place after being top of League 2 for so long.

Probably didn't want him to break down at the climatic point of the season.

I think she has died. I caught the tail end of soccer night on ITV last night and they were talking about it.

I appreciate that a degree of confidentaility must be maintained, but surely we can expect to be kept informed of whether meeting are occuring and whether decisions as fundamental as resigning from the Conference are being taken by a small group which, no matter how comitted or well-meaning, is currently unelected and acting without a mandate. (Pause for breath) And I say this in no way aiming criticism ay those involved, who I know to be acting in good faith.

As I've just posted on another thread, we are not making decisions, but simply having "think tank" gatherings to share ideas.
