96 Players required???

If all the reports I read are correct (and they all claim to be) we will be playing next season in-

Conference

Conference South

Rymans Premier

Rymans Division 2

Isthmian League

Essex Senior League

 

If all these are true we will need 66 players and 30 subs per week .

Should we start thinking about signing a few new players now!!!!!!!

phew ! that's ok then, only 55 players and 25 subs needed now...as long as we don't try for Southern League Eastern Division instead

Seriously, this illustrates the ridiculousness of FIFA One Game initiative that tries to impose uniform rules over the game at all levels.

 

The requirement for 5 subs at non-league level and even into the lower levels of the League is pointless and costly. It should be staggered as you go up.

 

Just think - Arsenal won the double with a first team squad of 17 in 1971!
