Take your Horn Big Bad, i can't make the game tomorrow. Will be at the last game against Wivenhoe, so a last big blast to end the season. Good luck to the E's for tomorrow. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />

Arlesey 1-0 Enfield . Enfield without five first teamers lost narrowly today . The Teams Arlesey 1 carl Tasker 2 Kahn Fahni 3 Paul Bloss 4 Dave Hatchett 5 Darren Hay 6 Michael Cox 7 Stuart Beevor 8 Luke Gregson 9 Ozzie Foster 10 Michael Mckenzie 11 Lee Tekell subs 12 Ryan Nicholl 14 Hobbs 15 Bowgett 16 Morbin 17 Stefan Shamilion.

Enfield 1 Paul Daley 2 Gbenga Sonuga 3 Wes Borghys 4 Nick Turner 5 Kevin Kilroy 6 Paul Oshin 7 Sam Judge 8 Owen Beale 9 Marlon Stuart 10 Danny Gabriel 11 Ryan Hall subs 12 Rob McHale 14 Grant Osborn 15 Leon Green 16 Lee Allinson 17 Duane Uylett,

No Openings from anybody until the 10th min when Danny Gabriel found some space and his shot was blocked ,Bloss let fly for Arlesey soonafter but was off target ,On 16 mins a similar effort from Stuart Beevor straight at Paul Daley. Lee Tekell was next from distance but well wide. A poor piece of defending by E's allowed Fahni to cut in from the right but he flashed his shot across the face of Daley's goal. A header by Fahni again but wide again 30 mins . A near miss from Beevor from 25 yards was just an inch or two over the bar. Another from 20 yards from Tekell was well saved by Daley low to his left on 40 mins , A clever piece of trickery by Marlon Stuart got Danny Gabriel clear of his marker but his shot was Blocked with 44 mins gone. A Change at half time for E's saw Osborn & McHale on for Gabriel & Stuart.
In the 2nd half a disasterous clearence hit kevin kilroy and fell into the path of Michael McKenzie who couldn't believe his good fortune and easily put his shot past Daley to put the hosts 1-0 up 46 mins . Bloss shoots well over the bar soonafter ,And then it looked to be a second for Arlesey as McKenzie bundled the ball in ,But an offside flag was raised , Luke Gregson & Owen Beale clashed off the ball and Referee Mr Henry gave then both a stern and lenghty lecture. A good run from Sam Judge and a great cross and Grant Osborn was an Inch away from connecting with it. McKenzie got in again but Daley rushed off his line to clear. Kilroy puts Ryan Hall away but he slices his shot wide E's Now looking much better but the linesmans flag was very frustrating on several occasions , Agaist the run of play and Fahni gets a good cross in and Gregson's effort shaves Daley's post. On 75 mins McHale is fouled just outside the box ,Kevin Kilroy's freekick was brilliantly saved by Tasker, Several changes , Morbin on for Bloss ,Nicholl on for Beevor for Arlesey ,Allinson on for Kilroy 80 mins , Tekell's freekick missed by everyone ,And the final E's chance Lee Allinson crossed for Hall and Tasker blocked with his foot. Att 161 . Just one of them days today ,No Michael spencer ,Sherwin Stanley,Curtis Johnson ,Steve Wright,Mark Whittington. But we could have got something with a little bit of luck . Speaking of which Glamour Puss won the Raffle well done to her.

I see we gave the squad players a bit of a go in the second half then. I think we have a good young side and 2/3 experienced players could make a difference. I think we'll do reasonably well next season [fingers crossed].
