This forum is becoming a bit stupid. We are in a serious crossroads at CIFC at the moment, this forum should be used to enable us to get through this by sharing ideas.

If you are at all bothered about Canvey FC, can we please stop this childish insult swapping and concentrate on the task in hand?

Sorry for my rant, but it's turned into a school playground on here over the last week.

Me too. So what are you going to do about the "fans" of other clubs who try to kid on about coming here to offer their support when the only real reason they are on the Canvey forum is to cause trouble and take the pi*s?

I can't "do" anything as I am not an administrator. All I would say is that these people should respect that we are going through a difficult time, especially Hornchurch fans as they have been through this themselves. If they do not have anything constructive to say (which they did at the beginning) then they are only hindering our progress. At the same time going on other teams forums and stirring it up is just as bad and retaliation from both sides in inevitable.

And if you really wanna row, use the Personal Message function and no one else need know!

I sort of agree and disagree, for me the banter (provided it does not make a direct threat or is racist) is a light diversion from some of the bigger more depressing issues and you can chose to join in or ignore it.

Most of the time it is genuine fun, I myself have often got involved and made judgements when to back away or stay with it.

I often view posts where people are slagging each other off and smile.

I can be certain that none of it is heartfelt, I have said "I hate all gooners".

Problem is my dad is one and so is my oldest son who is 22, it looks like I am going to have to drive him all the way to Paris because he has a ticket but probably cannot afford the flights.

You think I give and recieve stick here, you should have heard me and my oldest son when the game was on!!

I hope it continues, even if the boundaries of taste and decency are stretched, I hope also behind it is no malice, because that would be a shame!!

I've been using these forums so long that I know the tactics, just ignore them, blank them. Whatever you do don't reply back. It's the gentlemanly way and no you are not a coward if you don't react.

These forums have become rather tedious over the last few days I quite frankly have not got the time to read this constant squabbling.

Or is it that you do not want to criticise your mates on the Hornchurch site?

They`re not my mates and i have no problems ignoring them.

If you and your "friends" get some sort of pleasure in being an internet warrior go for it, but please try and keep it to one thread so we all can ignore it.

Maybe we can get a boxing match set-up so you both can go toe-to-toe and sort out your differences. We could sell tickets with all profits going to the trust

Ronin? I thought my comments were directed to Yellow having seen some of his postings on the HX site?

A boxing match? I think on the offchance that these pieces of HX crap did turn up, one look at me and they really wouldn't want to know at all and that is not bull. I hasten to add I am also a brown belt in karate.

To be honest I would not be keen for two reasons.

A. With my training I might seriously hurt somebody (and in the case of the Foreskin Boys) very much enjoy doing so.

B. The sad little fagg*ts might bleed on me and when you consider where they have been, that really would give cause for concern.

I actually have some very good friends at Hornchurch and St Albans as well. Many off them don't actally post on these forums but that's beside the point. I'm not going to get into a slanging match with you fella because I don't see the point.

All I was saying was I don't have the time to read 50 odd posts of slagging as I have other things to do with my life, like write a programme column for Monday like I'm trying to do now.

Fair enough but have to say that when HX are here "giving it large" your silence on the matter is deafening. Having seen some of your posts on their forum (yes I did look but not post) you do seem rather pally with Uncle Foreskin and the other mug and I feel this explains a lot, no matter what you say.

As a collector, glad to hear that there is a programme being issued for Monday.

Oh yes definitely. BTW, The pictures of the sponsored walk are available and have come out really well. There's some great shots there. Will bring them down the club tomorrow night.
